The smallest member of the onion family this humble herb is hard to overuse. Their tubular, grass-like leaves add a fresh onion flavour without a lingering aftertaste.
Suggested use: blend with butter to make a superb base for sandwiches or finish for cooked vegetables. Excellent with eggs, sauces and to garnish soups. Mix into salad dressing, mayonnaise and dips. Add at the end of cooking to preserve the flavour.
