Quatre Epices is a French pepper blend made with ground white pepper, nutmeg, ginger and cloves. It was created to bring flavor to sausages, charcuterie and patê. It works well with just about any meat or casserole. It is fantastic in rich red wine sauces or in any slow cooked dish and it can be used instead of black pepper.
