Coriander Seeds Ground

This is an ancient spice reputed to have grown in the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. It is used in cuisines around the world. It is the seed of the cilantro plant but does not retain that flavour. It tastes of lemon and orange peel with a hint of sage. It is used quite extensively in Indian cooking as it is an amalgamating spice and balances sweet and savoury flavors in curry blends.
