Our Berbere is a blend of 11 herbs and spices inspired by the classic recipe from Ethiopia. It adds heat (but not the face-melting kind) and will benefit from adding salt to taste. We recommend starting at a ratio of about 1 tsp Berbere per pound of meat if you are using it as a dry rub. It can also be made into a paste by mixing with a little water.
Suggested uses: Sprinkle on popcorn or roasted kale crisps. Works well on all meats and root vegetables.
